Scribe Post
Yesterday we worked on a science portfolio. Its purpose is to organize your work, to have evidence of learning to your parents, your teacher, and other students, to reflect on what you have done "Collect, Select, Reflect".
Science Portfolio should be in four catagories:
1. Summative Assessments~counts for marks
2. Lab Work~pre-lab and lab write-up
3. Approaching~shows signs of improvment
4. Demostrating~shows evidence of meeting learning outcomes
Before 2:00pm, everyone will need to be done Page.93 Ouestions 1, 3-7 and have the categories labeled on the portfolios.

Recently we have been assigned to post pictures that are either homogeneous or/are heterogeneous. So, this is mine.
Above is a picture of a drum kit, the drum kit is heterogeneous because if you take the drum set apart it the pieces would all be different.
This mannequin is heterogeneous because the layers of the hair is uneven.

This paintbrush is heterogeneous because the paint bristles are uneven and the paint splatters are uneven also.
This is a water pump and a bunch of stuff under it this would also be heterogeneous because all of all of the items are different and have different pieces to them.
This is my drawing of a flower from art class, this is heterogeneous because the shading is all different.
