this is a cylinder
formula for total surface area of a closed cylinder is

A = L + T + B = 2πrh + 2(πr2) = 2πr(h+r)
here is the calculator
http://www.calculatorsoup.com/calculators/geometry-solids/cylinder.php

and here is the volume forumla for a cylinder.
V = πr2h

Shapes Assignment

The object we chose is a rectangular prism.

The formula for surface area is- 2(d(h+w)+hw)                d- depth
                                                                                                                                     h-height
The formula for volume is- dhw                                                    w-width

http://www.csgnetwork.com/surfareacalc.html  -  is a calculator for surface area

http://www.csgnetwork.com/volumecalc.html   - is a calculator for volume

These calculators are for all types of 3d shapes
Hemi-Sphere
Volume of Hemisphere = (2/3)πr³
Total Surface Area(TSA) of Hemisphere = 3πr²
http://www.calculatorsoup.com/calculators/geometry-solids/hemisphere.php
This is a rectangular prism, the formula for calculating surface area is:
SA=2ab + 2bc + 2ac or SA=2(lw + lh + wh)

http://www.calculatorsoup.com/calculators/geometry-solids/rectangularprism.php and there is a link to the calculator that can be used for finding the surface area of a rectangular prism.

we got a a four-sided pyramid.
the surface area is A = 2bs + b2(the 2 is squared)

cylinder
surface area formula: 2pir^2+2pirh
volume: v=pir^2h
this calculator link helps you find the surface area and volume of a cylinder.

Tetrahedron

This is a tetrahedron.

  • formula for surface area: bh/2X4

  • AbaseXht/1/3

blah blah blah

cone

pic goes here

surface area formula is: S.A. cone = (pi x r x s)
