What is Plasma?
Plasma free electrons from atoms and molecules we all see plasma during the day an example of plasma is the sun its a great big ball of plasma that rips the electrons off the hydrogen and helium molecules and thats how the sun floats it boat and also stars are plasma too since the sun is basically a very large star
At the start of class Mr. Maksymchuk just kinda talked about how we're going to Mrs Larson's lab next week when she's away and that we need to have our pre-lab done for that (we can use his prelab document on google docs -he put a link to it on the blog previously). After that he showed us a video on physical and chemical changes that he also put on the blog.
After that he started to talk about how we should talk on the blog, mentioning that he didnt want any "text talk" meaning he doesn't want people to say lol etc.
We got to look at "prezi" which is a website he (Mr. Maksymchuk) thought we should use instead of powerpoint and showed us one of his presentations. Also mentioning that getting a prezi account is free.
We have to have our pre-lab complete, checked by Mr. Maksymchuk or Mrs. Bobick by the end of the day tomorrow (Sept. 23)
We also have to have the assignment on physical vs. chemical properties assignment done by the end of the day tomorrow (Sept. 23)
*At about 3:25 Mr Maksymchuk said something that made fun of morganne, in the recording.
After he did everything that is on the recording he let us work on our pre-lab and other assignment.
Sept. 22
Yesterday, on Sept 21 In science we worked on our Pre lab assignment, on google docs. There was no video or recording in science it was a basic working class.

Save Yourself a Headache...
and use this link to a template I've created on Google Docs. All you have to do is rename it and it should save within your own account, as long as you're logged in as yourself.

Today in class we went through "Pre-lab stuff" like what's in every lab. We are making templates in 'Google Docs' for pre-labs.

The First Scribe on the blog
We started off with mental math, then went over the scribing directions, then he did a recording and a smartboard thing on Natural numbers - real numbers - integers - rational numbers - irrational numbers - whole numbers. Haha Maksymchuck paused the recording at the three minuite mark and missed a whole bunch of stuff. We learned that an unreal number is _i_.

!Test Tubes and Lab Equipment Related To It!
Below is a picture of a test tube. Test Tubes are used for mixing chemicals or just stuff. Bre and I were given many of them!
Below is a picture of a Test Tube Rack and a test tube rack holds Test Tubes so that they are not rolling all over the place.
Under all of this very boring writing is a picture of a Test Tube Brush.... Personally I thought it was a tiny toilet brush.... But a test tube brush is used to clean test tubes, NOT TOILETS!
Next is tweezers... or also known as forceps, are used instead of fingers, so that you can grasp small or gross objects... For example, discecting frogs... eww.

What's Supposed to Happen
Hey folks....so I was checking the editable posts section of this blog, and I see that many of you are happily creating and editing your 'first official post'. They look fine, and it's mostly going the way it's supposed to. Except for the fact that it seems that some of you can't actually get the 'PUBLISH POST' button to work, for some reason currently unknown to me. I'm working on it, but be patient, and soon, this blog will take on a life of its own as your (the authors of this blog) start learning more and more from each other.
The rest of this post has all of the elements of what I suggested you'd need in your 'first official post' on the blog.
Different colours
Different sizes
Different fonts

Don't forget your labels. See if you can figure out what they're for....
Later, skaters....
